    Aunt Bessie's



    Aunt Bessie's work with Back-Up, delivering NVQ levels 1 and 2 in Food Manufacturing to employees based at its three sites in Hull.

    The programme - undertaken by some 400 employees, covering a wide range of experience and skill levels - was applauded by external auditors who were very impressed, as Carol Fletcher (right) explained:

    "From a business perspective, our main concerns right from the outset were that there should be no disruption to production and that the programme would be self-managed, without causing any impact on management time. We needn’t have worried. With the NVQ assessors being based on site and regular visits and updates from Heidi and Jill at Back-Up, the entire programme ran smoothly and without a hitch."
